

Intimate Lakeside Wedding At Kootenay Lake
Catering dinner for Heather's and Ted’s wedding was a reminder of everything I love about my job. The ceremony was small and so incredibly intimate with only immediate family present. To be there, and to witness this private, special moment in a person’s life felt like a privilege. Not only were the families lovely people, but they love food. No one had anywhere else to be so we could stretch many courses over the evening while stories were told and no one had a dry eye. And


Beautiful Wedding Perched Above Slocan Lake
Rosebery is not on the way to anywhere, but what a beautiful place it is. The property where Robert and Anabeli were married is perched above Slocan Lake with views up and down the valley. It was from here that we watched the storm blow in. Tables, set outside, had to be dragged under shelter from the rain. Tents had to be taken down before they were carried away by the wind. Water’s Edge Wedding - Christy & John's Mabel Lake Wedding
The Water’s Edge at Mabel Lake is a truly special property. The main house is majestic above the water with a disco ball you can see clear across the lake. Small cabins are scattered around the acreage with enough beds to accommodate a party so no one needs to brave the one hour drive on dirt roads back to Vernon in the dark. Christy and John were married here, witnessed by their parents, Christy’s children and a few close friends. Being at the Water’s Edge is reminiscent of
